PHOTOSHOP ADVICE OF THE DAY: We are all imperfect and that is OK! Perfection is an illusion.
( a little reminder that we don’t need to look like kawaii dolls to be pretty or cute or just enjoy fashion. We don’t need to look like a cliche to be happy. Photoshop is a great tool, but reality is greater. only when we love ourselves like we are we can be truly happy. You don’t need to look like an idol to be lovely, you only need to be you. Besides that advice, have fun edition photos! <3 )
Close up of the kawaii-monster I created:
The highly edited photo above is not what I would post of myself and was created totally over the top and is maybe almost a parody of some photos of lolitas you can find online, who are praised for their perfection while they just know how to use PS very well. I don’t meant to point fingers at ANYONE and don’t meant to hurt anyone, I just want to proof a point here. This was made for fun, to take a little of the power away that we give photoshop over ourselves. I mean, we ALL KNOW that magazines and Idols photoshop their pics and still we feel worthless sometimes, even if we know it’s not reality? I love PS and I love to play with it, but at the end of the day it’s just me and my mirror and I need to like that reflection as well, not only the version of me after two hours editing.
And illusion is still an illusion. Never forget.
